The PE, School Sport and Club Link (PESSCL) Strategy was a national strategy delivered across all school sport partnerships.

The strategies aim, to deliver the Governments Public Service Agreement of 75% of all young people taking part in two hours of high quality physical education and school sport by 2006 and 85% of all young people by 2008.

The 85% target was reached a year early in 2007, showing the significant impact school sport partnerships have had nationally. Partnership and national data were collected each year.
